Stuck at a dull corporate-wide summit, Will passes the time be imagining that the constant references to growing the company, sales, online presence and everything else were actually growing him instead.

It was almost time to head out to yet another boring corporate summit event when a package arrived at Will’s door. Whatever it was, he’d clearly forgotten ordering it. Opening the box a rush of slightly fuzzy memories hit him. “Oh god…”

He regretfully exclaimed remembering how last St. Patrick’s Day he’d celebrated a bit too hard and made the impulsive purchase. “I gotta take it easier next year if I was actually drunk enough to try buying fucking growth pills.” Setting the bottle down he started putting his shoes on when a twinge of curiosity hit him, “Well…one can’t hurt…”

About six pills later, just to be sure, Will had disappointingly, though not surprisingly, discovered they were just plain old placebos and went back to resigning himself to the boring car ride that lay ahead of him.

After an agonizingly tedious and uncomfortable ride in a car that was only about half has tall as he was, Will freed himself with a bassy grumble and immediately was hit with the next surprise. “Fucking cute,” he mumbled at the banner letting everyone know that this conference was going to be all about “growth and growing”. Of course they meant as it regarded the company, but it felt more like the universe was just poking fun at him.

Well maybe it wouldn’t seem to drag on this time if he let his mind wander along the definition of “growth”, so that was at least something. At least his favorite part of the event remained the same as ever, the part where every colleague from his sister branches complimented his size and gains when they met, stroking his ego far deeper than they could ever comprehend.

Of course it’d have to be a “go, go, go” affair and the first of many conferences would start right away, leaving Will basically no time to just stretch his wings after that cramped drive up before he had to find a seat. Taking a brief moment of satisfaction over the fact he was actually a little too big for his chair as he sat down, Will hunkered down and could slowly feel his eyes slipping shut. He wasn’t sleepy or even tired per se, it was all just so boring and if he could pass the time even a little faster by closing his eyes and letting his mind wander a little, he would.

The fantasy that subsequently came to him was a very welcome one: every time they keynote speaker said “grow,” his body did just that as a goofy smile gradually crept across his face. It wasn’t long, though, before Will heard a woman behind him gasping. His eyes jolted back open and he soon realized why the women had reacted—his clothes were heavily straining against his body as the seams audibly tore, and when the speaker said “grow” yet again—it was the theme, after all!—the back of his shirt loudly split open, cluing everyone behind him in to the fact that something was up.

Murmurs began filling the room. “Is he growing?” “Why is he so big?” “Why won’t the growth stop?” and they were all answered with a bellowing moan of pleasure as Will’s seat crumpled beneath him in a cacophony of grinding metal. The fabric that remained on the beast of a man began violently tearing as murmurs became screams and he started filling more of his aisle at an increasing rate. With every scream, every cry, and every shout of “Oh god why won’t he stop growing?!” Will throbbed a little harder before surging even bigger, the very word triggering his body’s expansion.

The hall was becoming a panicked mess as one man in the middle of it all, now free of every stitch, moaned and almost mindlessly demanded more. By the end of the end of the hour a single one of his majestic pores housed entire solar systems. When the day was up he was shattering the boundaries of reality itself with his incomprehensible size and glory.

With a jolt Will opened his eyes and was disheartened to find he was still in the conference hall and had fantasized it all. Then he heard his clothes stretch, and an audible gasp…
